Derek Minno

Derek Minno is currently a trustee at Palo Alto University. Derek has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including managing director at Wilshire Private Markets Group and CEO at Jovio. Derek has also been a partner at Exigen Capital and Point Venture Partners, and an investment officer at Mellon Bank. Throughout their career, Derek has been focused on assisting pension funds, endowments, and foundations investing in private partnerships, with a focus on venture capital and buyouts. Derek has managed portfolios totaling over $6 billion. Derek's experience and success in the financial industry make him a valuable asset to Palo Alto University.

Derek Minno graduated with a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA) from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business with a concentration in finance. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (BECE) from Vanderbilt University.
