Alexey Potakhov has extensive work experience in the software development field. Alexey started their career as a Software Engineer at Elecard Devices Ltd. in 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Lecturer at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics. Alexey then joined Tomsksoft LLC as a CTO, where they led the Windows/Linux Networking development team and managed projects and clients. In 2002, they also began working at Camshare Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Team Lead. In 2011, they started working at Tomsk Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they managed a consulting software development company and oversaw the software development process. In 2015, they joined Paltalk, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer and later became the Principal Software Architect. In their role, they designed and developed client-server and peer to peer networking software, APIs, and protocols using languages such as C++ and Go. Alexey also led the streaming services/backend team and played a crucial role in the development of a distributed content delivery network solution, involving audio/video streaming, DDoS protection, and cloud solutions.

Alexey Potakhov earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics from 1997 to 2002. Alexey then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2002 to 2005.
