Hendrik Pretorius

Hendrik Pretorius is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in mineral resource management and geological modeling. Currently serving as Executive: Technical Services and New Business at Pan African Resources PLC since January 2018, Hendrik ensures compliance with international reporting codes and standardizes practices across operations. Previously, as a Consulting Geologist at Shango Solutions, responsibility included geostatistical modeling and investment advisement across various mineral deposits. Hendrik's earlier career includes significant roles at Gold Fields Ltd., where contributions spanned from Chief Resource Geologist to Section Geologist, focusing on resource reconciliation and 3D orebody modeling, as well as key projects in geotechnical logging at BHP Billiton. Education includes a GDE in Mineral Resource Management from the University of the Witwatersrand and a B.Sc. Hon in Geology from the University of Johannesburg.
