Erasmo Jesus Salazar Bracho is a seasoned drilling engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer at Pan American Energy since February 2022, Erasmo previously held various roles at Halliburton from October 2018 to February 2022, including Integrated Services Coordinator and Technical Services Representative for Drill Bits Services. Erasmo's expertise encompasses project management, technical support, and field sales, with a focus on optimizing drilling programs and enhancing operational efficiency. Earlier positions include Instrument Engineer at ICR Consultores and a long tenure at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where roles ranged from Senior Drilling Engineer to Rig Leader and Drilling Supervisor. Erasmo holds a Master’s degree in Reservoir Characterization and Simulation from Venezuelan Hydrocarbons University, along with degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Electronic Engineering from Zulia State University and Rafael Belloso Chacin University, respectively. Additional education includes a course in English as a Foreign Language from The University of the West Indies.
