Angela Bayer possesses extensive experience in public health research, education, and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Engagement and Impact at The BulletPoints Project at UC Davis, Angela has focused on youth health initiatives since July 2021. Angela has held multiple roles at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia since 2010, contributing to projects aimed at improving health outcomes for youth and families in Peru, while also mentoring fellows. As a Chief of Program Evaluation for the California Department of Public Health, Angela provided leadership in evaluating maternal and child health programs. Additionally, Angela has established a non-profit organization aimed at supporting youth, founded a bookstore to promote reading, and has been involved with international agencies on adolescent health issues. Angela holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has a strong academic background, including multiple degrees from Harvard University and Johns Hopkins.
