Sara Benitez Majano

Sara Benitez Majano is an accomplished academic and health professional with extensive experience in public health and cancer research. Since August 2014, Sara has served as an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. In July 2021, Sara took on the role of Cancer Project Coordinator as an International Professional Consultant with the Pan American Health Organization. Prior to these roles, Sara worked as a Senior Health Research Analyst at Just Retirement from April 2012 to August 2014. Sara holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Universidad de Iberoamérica (UNIBE) and a Master of Science (MS) in International Public Health Nutrition from the University of Westminster, obtained between 2010 and 2011. Further education includes advanced studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from 2015 to 2019.
