Diego del Castillo Ames

Diego Del Castillo Ames is an experienced mining engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú and training in Surface Topography from Sencico. Currently serving as Ingeniero Trainee Operaciones Mina at Pan American Silver Corp., Diego manages the implementation of surface manager systems for DM 45 drills and supervises RC drilling operations. Previous roles include professional internships in multiple mining operations, where responsibilities encompassed the calculation of drilling and blasting KPIs, daily productivity reporting, and design of drilling patterns, along with topographic surveying and data modeling at Gestión Minera Integral S.A.C. and BJ OPERACIONES S.A. Diego's comprehensive skill set includes explosives loading supervision, productivity optimization, and QA/QC analysis in various mining contexts.
