Federico Sanchez Cueva

Federico Sanchez Cueva is a seasoned metallurgical engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the mining and metallurgical industries. Currently serving as Jefe de laboratorio Metalurgico at Pan American Silver Corp. since April 2017, Federico is responsible for the metallurgical performance of the Concentrator Plant. Past positions include Technical Sales Representative at Transmerquim, Technical Support Engineer and Sales at YALEPERU Ingenieria, and Superintendente de Planta Concentradora at both Empresa Minera Los Quenuales and Sociedad Minera Austria Duvaz, overseeing all metallurgical operations. With a strong foundation in metallurgy, Federico holds a degree in Ingeniero Metalurgico from the National University of Engineering, as well as master's degrees in Metalurgia Extractiva and Geometalurgia from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
