Gonzalo Lora Avalos

Gonzalo Lora Avalos is an experienced professional in the field of maintenance monitoring and predictive techniques within the mining sector. Currently serving as Jefe de Monitoreo de Condiciones at Pan American Silver Corp. since October 2021, Gonzalo manages and controls the execution of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques for mine and plant equipment. Prior experience includes roles as Analista de Despacho de Mantenimiento & Ampla at Minera Las Bambas, where responsibilities included coordinating maintenance activities, and various positions at Ferreyros S.A., focusing on condition monitoring and engineering reliability for mining equipment. Gonzalo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad César Vallejo and has continued education in heavy machinery maintenance and infrared thermography. Additionally, Gonzalo is currently studying English language skills.
