Laura Whelan

Laura Whelan (Breen) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international education and program management. Currently serving as Senior Director at the Pan Atlantic Foundation since September 2016, Laura previously held the position of Director of the USA High School Program at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, leading a team responsible for the placement of over 1500 international exchange students. Laura's earlier roles include Assistant Program Director for Youth Peacebuilding and Leadership Programs at World Learning/SIT Graduate Institute and Marketing Manager for Continuing Education at Naropa University. Laura began a career in product management at Preferred Voice, assisting small businesses with market entry strategies. Laura holds a Master's degree in International Education Management from the School for International Training and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from SUNY Oneonta.
