Octavio Rivera

Octavio Rivera is an experienced IT executive with a robust background in managing technology operations and strategic initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of IT at Panasonic Energy of North America since October 2021, Octavio is responsible for enhancing IT platforms and ensuring operational stability at the factory level. Prior roles include IT Director for Hussmann Specialty Products in Latin America, where responsibilities encompassed talent development and alignment with broader corporate IT strategies. Octavio has also held significant positions at ABB, Panasonic Automotive Systems, Schneider Electric, and IBM, contributing to project management, infrastructure stability, and IT governance. An educator as well, Octavio has taught IT audit and related subjects at universities in Mexico. Octavio holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications, complemented by a Project Management Professional course from The George Washington University.
