Christy Sexton

Christy Sexton has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Christy currently holds the position of Regional Director of Community Engagement at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation as the Senior National Manager of Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement from June 2021 to November 2023, and as the Manager of National Fundraising Campaigns & Volunteer Engagement from May 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Christy worked at the American Cancer Society in different roles. Christy served as the Regional Strategic Director from September 2019 to January 2021, the Director of Community Development from June 2017 to August 2019, the Talent Development Partner from March 2016 to May 2017, and the Senior Manager from April 2010 to March 2016.

Prior to their time at the American Cancer Society, Christy worked as an Independent Sales Rep at BiaCare from April 2009 to April 2010. Christy started their career at Promise Physical Therapy as an ATC/Clinical Manager, where they worked from an unknown start date to 2009.

Christy Sexton earned a Master's degree in Sports Medicine Health Care from The University of Alabama in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from The University of Alabama in 1998.
