Thanos Varvitsiotis holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in International transport from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university from 1996 to 1997. Thanos obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 1991 and 1996. Before pursuing higher education, Thanos Varvitsiotis completed their elementary, middle, and high school education at PSPA (Experimental School of the University of Athens) from 1978 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as Power BI, Transact-SQL, capital and liquidity adequacy, energy derivatives market, and Python programming. Thanos has also acquired professional certifications as a Derivatives Trader/Market Maker and a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
