Tiago Sampaio

Tiago Sampaio is the CTO at Pandatron and has previous experience as a board advisor for LongHack. Tiago has also been an advisor for AnalysisMode, a citizen science game empowering people to speed-up vaccine research with each gameplay.

Sampaio has led a team of 40 people remotely in 7 timezones, participating simultaneously at 5 hackathons in the same 72 hour-weekend. Resulting in the development of different project components for each hackathon: three beta versions of the AnalysisMode game, while developing an end-to-end Artificial Intelligence pipeline to transform the gameplay-generated data into insightful biomedical datasets ready to be used by vaccine prediction tools.

In just 1 month, Analysis Mode has achieved 10K players from 98 countries, and has become the leading game platform accelerating life sciences research, helping humanity to solve the crisis and avoid future ones.
