Tara Maddala has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics and clinical development. Tara is currently the Founder and CEO of Pandora Bio, Inc, a position they have held since October 2022.

In addition to their current role, Tara has also held leadership positions in various companies. Tara served as a Partner at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund - SV2 starting from June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Expert Statistical and Clinical Development Strategy Consultant at NDA Partners LLC starting from April 2019, and as an Expert Clinical Development and Data Science Consultant at TM Biostats, LLC starting from March 2019.

Tara gained significant experience at Delfi Diagnostics, where they held the positions of Chair, Scientific Advisory Board from September 2022 to February 2023, and Vice President of Clinical Development from February 2021 to September 2022.

In their earlier career, Tara worked at GRAIL, Inc. as the Vice President of Biostatistics, Data Management, and Biosample Operations from March 2017 to March 2019, and as the Director of Biostatistics and Data Management from March 2016 to March 2017. Before that, they worked at Genomic Health Inc, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Clinical Biostatistics from February 2015 to February 2016.

Tara's career also includes a role as Director of Biostatistics at Clinimetrics from 2000 to 2006, and as a Statistician at the University of California, San Francisco from 1999 to 2000. Tara began their career as a Research Associate at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 1996 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Tara has demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, clinical development strategy, and biostatistics. Tara has contributed to the development and analysis of various diagnostic products and has been involved in discussions with regulatory authorities.

Tara Maddala holds a PhD in Biostatistics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), which they completed in the year 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Health Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida in 1994.
