Matt Ellis

Matt Ellis has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing industry. Matt started their career at Lear Corporation, where they worked as a Six Sigma professional. Matt then joined Eagle Ottawa, initially as a General Manager and later promoted as the Director of Operations, overseeing two cutting plants in Mexico. Matt was responsible for turning around a troubled organization and establishing it as a world-class manufacturing organization. Matt then worked as the General Manager at Capital Tools & Design Ltd, focusing on turnaround efforts and driving production improvements. Matt also served as the Plant Manager at Henniges Automotive, managing a manufacturing facility in Zapopan, Mexico. Matt further gained experience as the Manager of Operations at Pertek-Erler, supporting the production of plastic parts for multiple industries. In their most recent role as the Director of Operations at Pangea Made, Matt was responsible for three leather manufacturing plants in Mexico, focusing on operations stability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Matt Ellis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations from The University of Texas at El Paso, graduating in 1996.
