Fluid Dynamics Team Lead at Pangea Aerospace

Carlos Jesús Romero Casado has a long history of working in the aerospace industry. Carlos Jesús began their career in 2009 as an Academic Excellence at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid-E.T.S.I. Aeronáuticos, where they conducted an aerodynamic study of wind tunnel experiments. In 2010, they continued their work at the same university, this time conducting a stability study of the logistic equation by calculating the Lyapunov coefficient. In 2013, they completed a Master's Thesis Internship at Safran, followed by a Master's Thesis Internship at Airbus Group Innovations in 2014. In 2015, they began a PhD CIFRE at Airbus Defence and Space/ENSAM. In 2019, they became an Engineer in propulsion and combustion systems at CNES, and in 2021, they started working as a Research Engineer in heat rejection for nuclear space reactors at CEA. Most recently, in 2022, Carlos Jesús Romero Casado began working as a Propulsion Engineer at Pangea Aerospace.

Carlos Jesús Romero Casado has a diverse educational background. Carlos Jesús completed a Bachelor Degree in Science and Technology from Colegio María Inmaculada in 2006-2008. Carlos Jesús then went on to receive an Aeronautical Engineer's degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2008-2014. In 2012-2013, they obtained a Master degree of Aeronautical engineering from IPSA, école d'ingénieurs de l'air et de l'espace. Carlos Jesús has also completed a PhD in Génie énergétique from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers from 2015-2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions such as CEA, CERFACS, HarvardX, von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, and CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique.
