Emily Pena

Emily Pena is a Laboratory Associate at Pangea Laboratory since June 2022. Previously, Emily worked at PerkinElmer, Inc. from October 2020 to May 2022 as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, where responsibilities included processing patient samples for COVID-19 testing and utilizing a LIMS database for data management. Emily also held the position of Laboratory Assistant, training new staff and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Prior experience includes roles as a Cafe Attendant with College Fresh, Inc. and Student Manager at Ortega Dining Commons, where Emily managed teams and ensured operational efficiency. Emily holds a degree from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2019.
