Taikun Yamada

Taikun Yamada is an experienced operations manager in the biotechnology field, currently serving at Pangea Laboratory since September 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing FDA EUA approved COVID-19 detection tests and leading a qPCR team to ensure timely results. Previously, at MyDNAge (Epimorphy LLC) from October 2019 to September 2021, Taikun managed operations for a direct-to-consumer start-up focused on epigenetic technologies and marketing the myDNAge® test. Taikun's earlier experience includes a role as a research associate at Zymo Research Corp, where cDNA synthesis and SARS-CoV-2 RNA sequencing were performed, and as a junior research specialist at the University of California, Irvine, contributing to vaccine development. Taikun holds an Associate of Science in Mathematics and Science from Palomar College, a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from UC Irvine.
