Tom Hetherington

Tom Hetherington currently serves as General Counsel at Pango Group, an Aura company, since January 2024. Prior to this role, Tom held the position of Chief Counsel for Corporate and M&A at Aura from December 2021 to January 2024. Tom's extensive legal experience includes serving as Director and Practice Group Leader in the Office of the General Counsel at PwC, where responsibilities encompassed mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and governance initiatives. Previous positions include Assistant General Counsel at Verizon Media, focusing on M&A, venture capital, and commercial agreements, as well as roles as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Mintz Levin. Tom holds a JD, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law and a BA in History from Princeton University.
