Casey Karins has a diverse work experience in both the construction industry and the US Air Force Reserve. In their most recent role as Vice President of Preconstruction at Panhandle Power Solutions LLC, Casey leads a team of estimators and oversees the creation of accurate cost estimates for utility-scale electrical construction and renewable energy projects. Prior to this, Casey held various leadership positions in the US Air Force Reserve, including Senior Enlisted Leader, Operations Superintendent, Superintendent of Plans & Programs, Operations Superintendent, and NCOIC of Training. Casey's responsibilities in these roles ranged from providing executive management and leadership to overseeing unit readiness and conducting inspections for regulatory compliance. Casey has also worked as a Preconstruction Manager at SES Group and as a Cost Estimator at Panhandle Power Solutions LLC, where they focused on estimating costs for construction projects. Earlier in their career, Casey served as a Construction Superintendent at Iron Mike Construction and as a Training Instructor in the US Air Force Reserve, where they were responsible for training in various areas such as marksmanship, tactics, and vehicle operations.
Casey Karins completed their Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Supervision at UNH Online from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the Community College of the Air Force from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have certifications from Procore Technologies in Project Management and Core Tools, obtained in 2019.
