Chris H.

Chris H. has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Chris is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Panopto since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Engineering at Napster Group from July 2021 to December 2022. In this role, they demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by managing teams of over 100 engineers and implementing digital transformation initiatives.

From August 2019 to June 2021, Chris was the Director of Engineering at Autodesk. Here, they supported licensing, entitlement, identity, and platform services by managing teams of over 130 engineers and focusing on engineering practices and work culture evolution.

Before joining Autodesk, Chris worked at Comcast as the Executive Director from August 2015 to July 2018. Chris held the role of Technical Platform Owner for the alternate content platform and collaborated with the Platform Engineering team to define the delivery platform for enterprise services. Chris also implemented Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to improve operational support.

Prior to Comcast, Chris worked as the VP of Engineering at This Technology, Inc. where they managed multiple software development and QA teams and facilitated the sale of ThisTech to Comcast.

Chris started their career at nCUBE in 2001 as a Software Engineering Manager, followed by roles at C-COR as a Software Engineering Manager from 2005 to 2007, and at ARRIS as a Sr. Software Engineering Manager and later as a Director of Product Management from 2007 to 2014.

From 1997 to 1999, Chris H. attended Old Dominion University, where they studied computer science. Chris did not receive a degree from this institution.
