Julien Balkany

Julien Balkany is currently the Chairman of the Board at Panoro Energy. Julien has held this position since July 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Non Executive Director at Gasfrac Energy Services from May 2014 to July 2015. Julien also served as the Non-executive Vice Chairman at Toreador Resources Corporation from January 2009 to March 2011.

Balkany has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Julien began their career in the early 1990s, working in various exploration and production companies. In 2006, they joined Gasfrac Energy Services, where they helped develop and commercialize a unique waterless fracking technology using propane gel instead of water.

Balkany is a native of France. Julien received their bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.

Julien Balkany completed their undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Julien then went on to complete their graduate studies at Sciences Po Strasbourg.
