Moving forward, from 1992 to 1993, Dr. Michaels served as a Medical Intern at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, focusing on Transitional Residency. Continuing their medical training, they became a Resident Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where they completed their residency program from 1993 to 1996.
