Purvi Shah

Purvi Shah is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within prestigious medical institutions. Purvi served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital from March 2019 to April 2022, also holding the position of Vice President, Chief Medical Officer/Chief Quality Officer at NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. Prior experience includes serving as Medical Director at Montefiore Health System's Wakefield Hospital from July 2008 to February 2019 and roles as Emergency Medicine Physician and Associate Director of the Emergency Department. Purvi holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a Master of Science (MS) in Health Care Management from Harvard T.H.
