John Sampson

John Sampson has over 24 years of work experience in the software engineering and development industry. John began their career in 1996 as an Engineer for cloudspace, where they directed software engineering and development teams to complete dozens of dynamic websites and mobile applications for startup clients. In 1997, they founded The DJ List, where they delivered excellence in planning and execution to develop and commercialize web sites and mobile apps dedicated to the global electronic dance music industry. In 2007, they joined Yahoo! MyBlogLog as a Sr. Engineer, where they conducted product management and release management to improve bloggers' experience with tracking their readers and forming online communities. John also led the integration of the product to the Yahoo! platform and incorporated new functionality including security. In 2008, they launched a new startup, Zentact, with seed round and partners to develop a browser plug-in to help users strengthen their connections with contacts. John applied market and user knowledge to identify high-potential opportunities, and directed development across the product lifecycle for presentation to the investor community. In 2020, they joined Pantastic as a Sr. Engineer.

John Sampson attended the University of Central Florida from 1997 to 1999, studying Business.
