Reyna Monson has varied work experience, starting with 6 years as an ELCA ordained minister. Moving on, they worked for 10 years at Pantheon Computer Systems starting in 2010. During this time, they worked as a service manager and executive assistant for five years, before transitioning into the role of Operations Manager, where they were involved in all aspects of the business including HR, project management, service management, and overseeing contract compliancy among other responsibilities. In 2020, Reyna started working at Pantheon Computers, where they currently hold the position of Vice President responsible for overseeing the day to day operational work of the business. Moreover, they have also been appointed as the President from April 2023.

Reyna Monson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Religion from Luther College in 2000. Reyna furthered their studies at Luther Seminary, where they pursued a Master's degree in MDiv from 2000 to 2004.
