Max Richmond

Max Richmond has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Student Assistant at the Boise State Administration - Office of the Registrar. In 2018, they became a Service Coordinator for the National Residence Hall Honorary, Blue Gem Chapter, and also took on the role of a Resident Assistant at Boise State Housing and Residence Life. During this time, Max focused on creating an inclusive environment, executing community events, and building relationships with residents.

In 2019, Max joined the Department of Computer Science at Boise State University as a Computer Science Tutor, where they guided students in understanding fundamental C programming topics. Max also linked high-level C programming knowledge to low-level memory changes in Linux Kernel.

In 2020, Max became a Software Development Intern at Kount, an Equifax Company. Max played a significant role in engineering and deploying microservices to a production environment using AWS, Gitlab CI/CD, and gRPC. Max also migrated millions of documents using Elastic Search API in AWS across multiple environments, including production.

From 2021 to 2022, Max continued their journey at Kount as a Software Engineer. Max transformed a monolithic payment fraud detection product into a scalable, cloud-native microservice architecture. Their work involved utilizing Go and Python languages and deploying with Kubernetes using EKS. Max also led the development of a cloud-native delegated 3DS authentication product for Barclays.

In 2022, Max joined Panther as a Backend Software Engineer. Currently, they serve as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, contributing to the company's backend development efforts.

Throughout their career, Max has demonstrated strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.

Max Richmond has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Science. From 2017 to 2021, they attended Boise State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Max then pursued further studies at the same university from 2021 to 2024, completing a Master of Science degree with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to their degrees, Max Richmond has acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. In August 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In March 2022, they also obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp. These certifications demonstrate their proficiency in relevant technologies and tools.
