Russell Leighton is the Chief Architect at Panther, where he's focused on building the best SIEM in the world. Russell has extensive experience in developing cloud-native security products as a Principal Engineer. Previously, Russell worked at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer in Security Engineering, and as a Software Development Engineer in EC2 Networking. Before that, Russell held roles at Novetta Solutions and White Oak Technologies as a Principal Engineer, specializing in developing datamining applications for clients. Additionally, Russell has experience as a Director IT at IMAKE Consulting, Inc. and as a VP Systems Architecture at 24/7 Real Media. Russell Leighton's academic background includes a BA in Computer Science/Math from the University of Rochester.
