Alex Varga

Alex Varga is the Director of Regional Programming at Panthera Corporation. Alex has over 10 years of experience working in the environmental sustainability field. Previously, they were the Assistant Director at the Earth Institute Center for Environmental Sustainability, where they managed programs and projects related to climate change, energy and transportation, water resources, and sustainable development. Alex also taught group fitness classes at Pura Vida Urban Fitness and was a program manager at the Center for Environmental Research and Conservation at Columbia University. Alex has a passion for environmental sustainability and has dedicated their career to finding ways to protect our planet.

Alex Varga has a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs with a focus in Environmental Science and Policy. They also have a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire in Environmental Science & International Affairs.
