Christian Vachon

Director, industry 4.0 R&D at Panthera Dental

Christian Vachon has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Christian is currently the Director of industry 4.0 R&D at Panthera Dental since January 2021. Prior to that, they founded and served as the President of Akivo from November 2014 to January 2021.

Before their time at Akivo, Christian was the President and co-founder of Sogix, a company that specialized in web, mobile, and marketing solutions for small and medium enterprises. Christian held this position from January 2008 to April 2014.

Christian also gained experience as a Senior Web developer at Fusepoint Managed Services from September 2005 to December 2007. Prior to that, they worked at AIR Worldwide Corporation as a Senior Web developer from July 2002 to June 2005. At AIR Worldwide Corporation, they were the lead developer for the ISO HomeValue application which received the E-Fusion Award at the 2004 Insurance & Technology Conference.

Before joining AIR Worldwide Corporation, Christian worked as a Web developer at Nurun from January 2000 to June 2002. Their career began at EDS where they worked as a Web developer from March 1998 to December 1999. At EDS, they were involved in the development and design of the first intranet of the Quebec City office.

Christian Vachon attended Collège François-Xavier-Garneau from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they attended La Cité Collégiale, focusing on Radio Broadcasting.
