Tom Smith is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in culinary leadership and innovation. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Culinary and Corporate Chef at Papa John's International since December 2019, Tom previously held roles at Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants as Senior Manager R&D and Corporate Chef, and as Executive Chef at Purgatory Golf Club, where responsibilities included overseeing food and beverage operations and managing large-scale events. Tom's earlier experience includes significant contributions as an Executive Chef at Food IQ, leading culinary concept development for prominent clients, and Chef de Cuisine at Oakleys Bistro, recognized in Bon Appetit Magazine. Tom began a culinary career as a Sous Chef at Hemingway's Restaurant, noted for its fine dining reputation.
