Ford Brewer

Ford Brewer, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2009 as the Chief Medical Officer of The Little Clinic, they later served as the Chief Clinical Officer at MyGenetx from 2014 to 2019. In 2011, they became the Medical Director for Goodyear Operations at Premise Health, where they later became the CMO responsible for the clinical and client service performance of hundreds of medical professionals.

Ford Brewer also served as the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at MDLIVE, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. In 2015, they co-founded PrevMed Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center, a precision medicine practice focusing on eradicating heart attack, stroke, and dementia risk.

Ford has held various consultant positions, including with K Health since 2018 and imaware™ since 2020. Ford also joined Papa as the Chief Medical Officer in 2020.

In addition to their work in healthcare, Ford Brewer briefly served as the CMO at newNRG in 2016. Overall, their work experience spans multiple leadership roles and emphasizes preventive medicine and precision medicine techniques.

Ford Brewer MD MPH completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the Medical University of South Carolina from 1978 to 1981, with a focus on Medicine. Ford then pursued a Masters of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 1982 to 1983, specializing in Public Health. In 2015 to 2017, they earned a Professional Certificate in Biomedical Genetics from Stanford Continuing Studies, concentrating on Human/Medical Genetics.
