Jorge Garcia

Jorge Garcia is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in back-end development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Paper Edu since May 2021, Jorge previously held positions at Tulip Retail as a Software Developer II, and at DDB Canada as a Back End Developer, focusing on building and maintaining web applications for various clients. Earlier experience includes work as a PHP Web Developer at ILABS, where Jorge developed multiple web applications and REST APIs, and as a Programmer & Lab Technician at the Centre for Culture and Technology, contributing to a robotic art generation project. Jorge began academic pursuits in Computer Science at The University of British Columbia, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree earned in 2016.
