Andrea Carriero

Andrea Carriero serves as the Head of Infrastructure & Security at papernest since June 2018, responsible for leading the Infrastructure department and overseeing DevOps and IT teams to align with business objectives. Key achievements include implementing cloud optimization strategies that resulted in significant cost savings and promoting sustainable infrastructure practices. Previously, Andrea held the position of Lead DevOps Engineer, where the focus was on building the DevOps team and defining infrastructure roadmaps, as well as enhancing communication workflows with software teams. Earlier experience as a DevOps Engineer involved designing and maintaining high-availability infrastructure on AWS and introducing automation to improve system reliability. Prior to papernest, Andrea worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at Cyberia Network, delivering infrastructure solutions and managing monitoring systems across various sectors.
