Alexandre Makram

Alexandre Makram has a extensive work experience in the legal field, with their most recent position being Legal Director - Commercial at PAPREC since September 2022. Before that, they worked at Baker Hughes from 2009 to 2022, where they held the positions of Managing Commercial Counsel - Europe & Africa and Legal Contracts Counsel - North and West Africa. Prior to that, they worked at Ponticelli Freres as a Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts from 2005 to 2009. Alexandre also gained experience at Titus Interactive/Virgin Interactive Entertainment as a Legal Counsel - Commercial and Corporate from 2002 to 2005, and at Rhodia as a Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts from 2001 to 2002. Alexandre started their legal career as an intern at Lovells from March to June 2001.

Alexandre Makram's education history begins in 1997 when they obtained a Master Degree (Maîtrise) in International and European Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Alexandre then pursued further studies and completed a Postgraduate Degree (DESS) in International Business Law at Université Paris Cité, from 1998 to 1999. Continuing their academic journey, Alexandre attended The University of Edinburgh in 1999 and obtained an LLM degree in Law.
