Sylvain Lierre has extensive work experience, starting with Philips in 2010 as Global Head of Marketing & Digital (BG Consumer Audio) and Global Head of Marketing & Digital (BG Coffee) - Sr Director. In 2016, they joined Babbel as Director, Insights & Brand Marketing and built and led the in house agency which drove Babbel's transformation from startup to global brand, ready for IPO. In 2020, they were headhunted to join Radisson Hotel Group as VP Marketing & Consumer PR, EMEA. Since 2021, they have held various roles including Independent Brand Marketing Executive & Interim Consulting & Advisory at &sl consulting, Brand & Creative Director & Interim at Blinkist, Advisor at Paired and WEO, and Brand & CX Director & Interim and Advisor & Investor at Papumba. In 2023, they became a Startup Mentor at Unicorn Factory Lisboa.
Sylvain Lierre has a diverse educational background. In 2020, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Marketing & Brand Management from the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson. From 1996 to 1998, they obtained a DESS in Etudes & Strategie Marketing from Sciences Po. From 1992 to 1996, they obtained a MSG in Marketing from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from Berklee College of Music: Arranging for Songwriters (obtained in October 2022), Songwriting: Writing the Lyrics (obtained in September 2022), and Songwriting: Writing the Music (obtained in September 2022).
