Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting. As Finance Director and Financial Controller at Par Equity since March 2018, Emily oversees all aspects of the finance function, including management reporting, forecasting, taxation, and internal controls. Prior to this role, Emily served as Senior Manager Financial Control and Statutory Reporting at Lloyds Banking Group, where responsibilities included maintaining financial control for a diverse portfolio and enhancing financial processes. Emily's earlier career included positions as Audit Manager at Scott-Moncrieff Chartered Accountants and Audit Senior at Whitelaw Wells Chartered Accountants, alongside an initial role at Baker Tilly. Emily is a Chartered Accountant, having earned the designation from ICAS, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Dundee.
