Vern Britton

Vern Britton has extensive work experience in the healthcare supply chain industry. Vern began their career in 1998 as a Customer Support Specialist at Owens & Minor, where they managed the PANDAC wound closure program for two hospitals. Vern later served as a Senior Analyst, responsible for national sales growth and field support of the company's wound closure management program.

In 2004, Vern became a Senior Technology Implementation Manager, leading a team of project managers in the implementation of Owens & Minor's web-based inventory management program. Vern worked closely with hospital leaders and staff on interface development and logistical planning.

From 2009 to 2017, Vern held the position of Director, Technology Program at Owens & Minor. In this role, they directed the company's inventory management suite of solutions, utilizing technology to reduce complexity within the healthcare supply chain and lower costs for hospitals.

In 2017, Vern joined PAR Excellence Systems as a Technology Project Manager before transitioning to the role of Healthcare Supply Chain Consultant at 4BConsulting, LLC. Vern is currently working as the Director of Client Implementations at PAR Excellence Systems, starting in 2018.

Throughout their career, Vern has demonstrated expertise in leveraging technology to automate processes, integrate new systems, and gather data electronically in the healthcare industry. Vern has successfully led teams, achieved program success and growth, and provided specialized reports, analysis, and recommendations to support effective cost management.

Vern Britton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
