Kina Desai

Kina Desai is a dedicated leader with extensive experience in nonprofit work and advocacy. As the CEO and Founder of Draws For A Cause, Kina established a business model that provides underwear to children in need, donating one pair for each sold. Additionally, Kina volunteers with Church World Service, assisting refugees through ESL training and support services, and holds an internship at Para Los Niños focusing on grants and public policy advocacy. Experience as a Youth Leader with ACLU SoCal included promoting civil justice for students, while work as a Law Clerk at Pettis Law Firm LLP involved legal research and document preparation. Kina also leads the Analytics YCAT Project at the Youth Climate Action Team, promotes political discourse as President of the Southern California Real Talk Chapter, and has participated in the League of Creative Minds, studying immigration issues. Recent fellowship with Coro Southern California emphasized community leadership. Currently pursuing education at Duke University, Kina maintains a commitment to social justice and community service.
