Pieter Beerepoot

Pieter Beerepoot is a Senior Scientist at Parabilis Medicines since January 2021, leading the Cellular Biochemistry efforts for the AR degrader program. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist in Cellular Biochemistry at Parabilis, contributing to hit discovery, mechanism of action studies, and assay development. Pieter served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital, working under the Steen Lab, and held various roles at the University of Toronto, including Ph.D. student and Teaching Assistant in Pharmacology. Early research experience includes positions at McMaster University and Merck Frosst, focusing on protein purification and characterization relevant to drug discovery. Pieter holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from McMaster University.
