Richard Klausner

Richard Klausner is a prominent figure in biotechnology with extensive leadership experience in various companies. Currently, Richard serves as Founder and Co-Chair and Chief Scientist at Altos Labs since January 2022. Richard's board positions include Board Member at Ohalo and Board Chair at Sonoma Biotherapeutics, which focuses on regulatory T-cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. As Founder and Board Chair of Lyell Immunopharma, Richard is involved in developing innovative T-cell reprogramming technologies for solid tumors. Richard co-founded LifeMine Therapeutics and Parabilis Medicines, where leadership roles include Executive Chairman and Board Chair, respectively, both aimed at pioneering novel drug discovery methodologies. Additionally, Richard advises Wisdo Health and previously held director positions at GRAIL and Juno Therapeutics, both of which were acquired by major companies. Richard's educational background includes an MD from Duke University and a BS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Yale University.
