Teresa Jurgensen

Teresa Jurgensen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as EVP and General Counsel at Parabilis Medicines since August 2024. Previously, Jurgensen held the position of SVP and General Counsel at 2seventy bio, where responsibilities included leading the legal team in various aspects, driving strategic decisions, and serving as corporate secretary to the Board of Directors. Jurgensen's extensive experience also includes roles as Vice President and General Counsel for Oncology at bluebird bio, and as Senior Director, Associate General Counsel at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where key transactions involving significant acquisitions and collaborations were managed. Early career experiences include positions at Saul Ewing LLP, SYNTHES, INC, and various roles in clinical trials and educational program management in the spine division. Jurgensen holds a J.D. from Widener University and a B.S. in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
