Sanjana Krishnan

Sanjana Krishnan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sanjana currently works as a Technical Operations Manager at Parachute Health since February 2019. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Technical Problem Solver at Epic from November 2017 to November 2018.

Sanjana also worked as a Consultant for the Orange County Rape Crisis Center, where they focused on gauging awareness of Title IX among Chapel Hill public school administrators and students. Sanjana performed surveys and conducted interviews about gender-based harassment education from August 2016 to May 2017.

During their time as a Facilities and Development Intern at Extended Stay America, Sanjana assisted with data analysis and communicated with clients to support projects at ESA hotels. Sanjana contributed to energy conservation and budget allocation from June 2016 to August 2016.

Sanjana gained publicity experience as a Publicity Intern at the University of North Carolina Press. Their responsibilities included media interaction, research on UNC Press books, mailing, distribution, data entry, and writing. Sanjana worked in this role from January 2016 to May 2016.

Additionally, Sanjana has worked as a Consultant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and as an Intern for the David Schwartz Campaign, where they coordinated with the media and community members to raise awareness of policy issues. Their roles lasted from August 2015 to December 2015 and September 2015 to November 2015, respectively.

Before these roles, Sanjana worked as a Tutor at Ramana Learning Center, where they provided academic assistance to students from January 2015 to September 2015. Sanjana also interned for a Senatorial Campaign, promoting support for an NC senator and raising awareness of policy issues from August 2014 to November 2014.

Lastly, Sanjana gained experience as a Tutor for Mathnasium, where they helped elementary and middle school-aged children with math homework and concepts from July 2012 to August 2014.

Sanjana Krishnan earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Public Policy with a minor in Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sanjana completed their undergraduate studies from 2013 to 2017.
