Takeyuki Ogura has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1994. Takeyuki began their career as a Game Programmer at SEGA Corporation, then moved on to become a Lead Software Design Engineer at Microsoft in 2001. In 2007, they began working as a Freelance Software Engineer, then joined Prometech Software, Inc. in 2008 as a Chief Software Design Engineer and General Manager of the Game Devision. In 2009, they founded Phyzios, Inc., where they served as both the Founder and CTO and secured USD 5.6 million series B funding. Takeyuki also developed and directed Daikagaku jikken (iPad) and collaborated with NHK Educational. In 2011, they began working as a Freelance Software Engineer and Consultant. In 2013, they joined the CEDEC Steering Committee as a member of the Business and Engineering Working Groups. In 2018, they joined Paracosma Inc. as the CTO. In 2021, they became a Technical Advisor at AVR Japan. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at DeNA as a Prototype Engineer and Software Engineer, where they developed a 360 degree live-streaming and 180 degree 3D (Google VR180 format) live-streaming system of image-based VR, which was used at "SHOWROOM" a group company of DeNA Co., Ltd.
Takeyuki Ogura attended Waseda University from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Management. In addition, they obtained a Private Pilot (soring gliders) certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in 1992, and a DJI SPECIALIST certification from DJI in October 2017.
