Philippe Noël

Philippe Noël is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of ParadeDB since July 2023, focusing on creating an Elasticsearch alternative built on Postgres, with an emphasis on real-time search and analytics. Previously, Philippe co-founded and led Whist from November 2019 to December 2022, a cloud-hybrid browser designed to enhance web application performance and secure remote work through advanced security features. Philippe also gained experience as a Program Manager Intern at Microsoft in 2019, where responsibilities included improving file server management within Azure Hybrid Cloud, and as a Data Science Intern at Premier Tech, automating quality control for industrial robotics. Philippe holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude in Computer Science & Neuroscience from Harvard University and completed the Y Combinator program, along with educational credentials from Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup and Collège Notre-Dame de Rivière-du-Loup in natural sciences.
