Julia Weng, GAICD, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and analysis. Currently, Julia serves as an Investment Committee Member for the Student Managed Investment Fund at the University of Sydney and as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Paradice Investment Management since June 2019. Prior roles include Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at First State Super, where Julia focused on equity analysis for ASX300 Industrials and private equity co-investments. Julia's background includes co-founding the artisan bakery Bon Boulanger and serving as an Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley, specializing in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. Julia began a career in quantitative analysis at Macquarie Group and as an Actuarial Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Educational qualifications include a Corporate Sustainability Management degree from Yale School of Management, a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a CFA from the CFA Institute. Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University.

Paradice Investment Management is a fund manager established in 1999 by David Paradice. We currently manage over A$14.5 billion in assets across six distinct investment strategies with 52 staff and offices in Sydney and Denver (as at 31 January 2024). The Paradice Australian Small Cap Strategy was our first investment offering in 2000. Since then we’ve added the Australian Mid Cap Strategy in 2006, the Australian Equities strategy in 2007, the Global Small Cap strategy in 2010, the Equity Alpha Plus strategy in 2019 and more recently the Australian Small Cap Opportunities Strategy in 2023.
