Bertin began a career in architecture as a Staff Architect at Parker/Bradley Architects in 1986. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture and Building Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1981 and 1986, as well as foundational education at Washington International School from 1970 to 1981.
