Director, Talent Operations at Paradox

Susannah Sack has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Susannah began their career as a Designer for the Bluestone Yearbook at James Madison University in 2011. Susannah then interned in the Human Resources department at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they completed various projects supporting HR specialists.

In 2013, Susannah interned as a Legal Intern at Rosetta Stone, supporting the Legal Department with contract review and management. Susannah then returned to The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a Recruitment Operations Specialist and College Recruiter. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Applicant Tracking System, running workforce reports, and executing recruitment advertising strategies.

Susannah continued their education at American University, where they worked as an Organization Development Consultant on various graduate student projects. Susannah also worked as a Research Assistant at James Madison University, contributing to research on rational thinking.

In 2014, Susannah returned to The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in a new role as the Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing Manager. Susannah established the organization's first-ever employer brand and recruitment marketing function and led impactful talent acquisition projects.

In 2019, Susannah joined Marriott International as the Manager of Talent Acquisition Strategies and Solutions. Susannah managed and contributed to programs and projects in support of Marriott's global Talent Acquisition strategy.

Currently, Susannah works at Paradox as the Director of Talent Operations. Their role focuses on scaling talent tech and systems for the fastest-growing HR tech company in the country. Susannah empowers the Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Talent Management functions to deliver results through process, execution strategies, talent attraction, insights, and frictionless software.

Susannah Sack completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Resources Development, at James Madison University from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Organization Development from American University from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Susannah obtained several certifications related to project management, including "Become a Project Manager," "Project Management Foundations," "Project Management Foundations: Budgets," and "Project Management Foundations: Ethics," all from LinkedIn, in June and July 2020.
