Mikael Palmér

Mikael Palmér has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mikael'smost recent role is as a Senior Product Manager at Paradox Interactive, where they focus on developing and managing products and services for players to enhance their gaming experience. Prior to this, Mikael worked at TietoEVRY as a Senior Project Manager and Head of Strategy Execution, leading cross-functional teams and conducting agile project and product management on marketing and eCommerce development projects. Mikael also trained clients and internal stakeholders on agile methodologies.

Before joining TietoEVRY, Mikael was the Managing Partner and Senior Project Manager at NetRelations US, where they were responsible for the company's US operations, recruited staff, and built and coordinated development teams for multiple website CMS and Ecommerce projects. Mikael then worked at NetRelations as a Senior Project Manager and Director of Strategy, conducting project management and web strategy on international projects.

Prior to their time at NetRelations, Mikael worked at Milou Communication AB as a Project Manager and Agency Director, managing development teams and delivering websites and intranets. Additionally, they worked as a UX Designer and Vice Regional Manager at Doberman, specializing in interaction and user experience design.

Early in their career, Mikael worked at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide as a Production Manager and UX Designer, handling web production management and user experience design for various marketing campaigns.

Throughout their career, Mikael has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategy execution, agile methodologies, web development, and user experience design.

Mikael Palmér has a Master's degree in Digital Management, which they obtained from Hyper Island from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended af Chapman from 1993 to 1996 and earned a High School Diploma with a field of study in Communication and Media Studies. In 1997 and 1998, Mikael also received training as a Squad Leader and Platoon Medic in the Amphibious Battalion of the Swedish Armed Forces' Marine Regiment. In terms of additional certifications, Mikael has obtained various qualifications throughout their career. Some of these include being a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner / Product Manager, Certified Business Architect, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PRINCE2™ Foundation Certificate in Project Management, Metrics for Product Managers, Product Management: Building a Product Strategy, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Google Analytics Individual Qualification. The respective institutions that awarded these certifications include Scaled Agile, Inc., Cordial AB, Scrum Alliance, AXELOS Global Best Practice, LinkedIn, and Google.
